DEPUTIES RESPOND TO APPARENT SUICIDE

     The Sheriff’s Office is investigating an apparent suicide that was reported Wednesday afternoon, March 27th,  at 187 CR 458.  At approximately 4:23 PM, Sheriff’s Corporal Edward Elliott was dispatched to that address in response to a 911 call.  A young man had been found deceased by his grandfather in a small camper trailer on the property.

     Deputies found the man hanging by a rope.  He had last been seen at approximately 6:30 PM Tuesday evening, March 26th.  Investigators found a suicide note at the incident scene. 

     The victim was identified as 20 year old COLTON FRANKLIN COLLINS of the residence.  The County Coroner’s office took possession of the body, which is being sent to the Arkansas State Medical Examiner’s Office in Little Rock to confirm cause and manner of death.
